JAMES McFARLIN

CEO & Creative Director
James McFarlin is the creative force behind major brand launches for SKECHERS and Johnny Rockets, bringing a career’s worth of expertise in design, marketing, and brand development. Known for award-winning campaigns and innovative cross-platform solutions, he has helped shape the success of global brands across diverse industries.

James led the branding and launch of WallyPark Airport Parking and FairwayPro. He provided marketing and PR services to top-tier clients such as Mattel, Guess Jeans, Body Glove, and the largest private real estate developer in the U.S., helping establish a major footprint in Los Angeles.

As principal of his agency, James served as the primary marketing partner for Shell and Texaco U.S., spearheading the rebranding of over 10,000 Texaco retail locations to Shell, and developing a comprehensive suite of B2B, B2C, and PR tools to support the transition.

Earlier in his career, James was Communications Director at American Medical International (AMI), overseeing communications for 268 hospitals and a workforce of more than 50,000 employees worldwide.

James earned both a B.A. and a master’s degree in Communications and Visual Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), where he cultivated a passion for storytelling, brand strategy, and visual innovation. His work reflects a commitment to creativity, excellence, and transformative brand leadership.

MARGARET McFARLIN
Financial Analysis & Business Management

Margaret McFarlin is a seasoned expert in financial analysis, business management, and strategic development. As Financial Manager for the Marketing Department of Texaco Refining & Marketing Inc., she played a key role in the largest retail rebranding initiative in U.S. history, leading the transition team that merged Texaco and Shell’s downstream assets. She also developed proprietary tools for financial modeling, sales forecasting, and capital investment, earning recognition as a forward-thinking strategist in the energy sector.

An entrepreneur at heart, Margaret went on to found a recreational products company, securing four patents and successfully directing manufacturing and e-commerce operations. Her ability to combine innovation with operational rigor underscores her strength in building businesses from the ground up.

At FairwayPro, Margaret leveraged her financial planning and business leadership skills to guide operations and drive company growth. Her analytical discipline complemented the creative vision of her partner, James McFarlin, forming the foundation for FairwayPro’s groundbreaking divot simulator technology.

Margaret holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, reflecting her versatility and global business acumen. Her career exemplifies the power of strategic leadership, innovation, and operational excellence in creating lasting success.

DAVID KUFF

Public Relations
David Kuff is a senior marketing executive and brand strategist with extensive experience in public relations, advertising, and digital marketing. He has represented leading global brands including Marriott, Shell, Asics, and All Nippon Airways.

Throughout his career, David has overseen the placement of more than $100 million in advertising across digital, print, and broadcast platforms. His high-profile campaigns—ranging from the Holland Flower Council to the U.S. Navy Energy Efficiency Program—have consistently delivered strong results and earned feature coverage in top-tier outlets such as Fox News, CNN, USA Today, NBC, and the Wall Street Journal.

Earlier in his career, David held roles as a Copywriter at J. Walter Thompson and PR Director at Hakuhodo, sharpening his expertise in brand storytelling and strategic communications. He holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland.

David brings a passion for building brands, connecting with audiences, and delivering campaigns that inspire and perform.

DAVID LUDEWIG

Advertising & Media
David Ludewig is a senior executive specializing in media sales, advertising, and business development. As Director of Sales at Horizon Media, he led campaigns for major brands including GEICO, IHOP, and Volvo, delivering consistent growth and client success.

David has held senior roles at Ionic Media, CBS Radio, Davis/Elen, Castells y Asociados, and The Gary Group, managing campaigns for top clients such as Toyota, McDonald’s, HBO, and Showtime. His expertise spans both traditional and digital platforms, giving clients a strategic advantage across the evolving media landscape.

An active advocate for industry development, David serves on the board of Ad Relief of Greater Los Angeles and guest lectures at USC’s Annenberg School of Media Communications. He holds a B.A. in Rhetoric and Communications from the State University of New York.

David’s career reflects a passion for building client relationships, driving growth, and delivering results in today’s competitive media environment.

TAKA ARAI

Film Manager
Taka Arai is a seasoned film producer and creative executive, best known as the founder of Pathfinder Pictures, a distributor of over 250 independent and international films. His production credits include Until the Night (Norman Reedus), Yellow (John Cho), and Shadow Fury (Fred Williamson).

Earlier in his career, Taka served as Director of Advertising and PR for Warner Bros. Japan, where he led the release of blockbuster titles such as The Lion King, The Fugitive, The Bodyguard, JFK, and The Silence of the Lambs, achieving record-breaking sales in the Japanese market.

Taka has also held senior creative roles at leading advertising agencies, including Hakuhodo Advertising Los Angeles, earning accolades such as Clio Awards, Belding Awards, and honors from the New York and Los Angeles Art Directors Clubs.

His career reflects a unique blend of creative vision and strategic leadership across film, advertising, and media.
